Unexpected Blessings

The storm clouds were rolling in from the north, and more than anything I hope we could beat the weather and squeeze in a session for this sweet family. We arrived at the location, and as I got out of the car the wind was blowing and some alligator tear sized raindrops were slowly dropping. My heart sank a little, thinking this would be an ok session at best.

Within 15 or so minutes the wind had died down to a soft breeze, the rain that had wanted to start had completely stopped, and we were left with the most majestic sky. What a beautiful example of beautiful surprises when everything indicates something less than. It was a joy and honor to capture these special people again, and I am so thankful it worked out exactly as it was meant to.
